Southeast Asia Language and Literature Cultural Festival 2017

Since spring of 2003, the faculty and students of the Yale Southeast Asia Language Studies Programs have organized and hosted an annual “Cultural Festival,” featuring displays and performances of regional arts, crafts, music and dance, along with a buffet dinner of Southeast Asian cuisine.  The 2017 Spring Festival featured an introduction to Angklung, including audience participation and Angklung ensemble performances by Indonesian language students, conducted by instructor Tricia Sumarijanto from the House of Angklung, Washington, D.C.
